I graduated from a small high school on the outskirts of Columbus. I attended The Ohio State University with the goal of a business degree. During the summers, I worked near Scranton PA, at a summer camp. After two years at Camp Wayne, I realized that working with kids was my true calling. I returned to OSU, but changed by degree path to education. I graduated in 1990 and was luckily hired into the Lakota Local School District. I have been teaching within the district for 33 years, I’ve earned a Master’s degree from Miami University in school administration.
My wife, Amy is an administrator within Lakota. We have a daughter, who works in Lakota and a son. I have many hobbies, such as geocaching , mountain biking and fishing, but my true love is flying. I have had my Pilot’s license for 25years. Sometimes when you see a small plane overhead, it may just be me.
